Plocher Construction served as the design-build contractor for The Parkway at Edwardsville, a major 26-acre phased development combining recreational, retail, dining, and residential spaces into one of the Metro East’s largest mixed-use communities.
The recreational component features a two-story, 40-bay driving range designed for year-round use, an 18-hole mini golf course, and extensive outdoor amenities. Supporting these attractions is a 5,000-square-foot restaurant and sports bar, complemented by a 4,000-square-foot mostly enclosed outdoor patio area, allowing for expanded customer capacity and multi-seasonal operations.
The Parkway is anchored by eleven locally owned businesses, offering a curated mix of premier retail and dining options that serve both residents and the broader Edwardsville community. Plocher’s scope included site infrastructure development, utility coordination, phased construction sequencing, and extensive collaboration with tenants to meet individual buildout requirements.
The residential component, Trace on the Parkway, offers luxury apartment living with a strong emphasis on lifestyle-driven amenities. The residences feature shared resort-style spaces including fitness centers, social lounges, outdoor recreational areas, and pedestrian-friendly connections to retail and dining venues within the broader development.
Plocher Construction’s integrated design-build approach allowed for seamless delivery across multiple project phases, meeting the complex demands of coordinating diverse building types and occupancies while maintaining high standards of quality, schedule, and safety. The Parkway stands today as a vibrant, active destination that supports modern living, leisure, and commerce in the growing Edwardsville community.
